Electronic Books grows without stopping in the U.S. and Europe
Information technologies have enabled more and more users tend to read their favorite authors and novels in digital format.
This was revealed by the sales report that the Association of American Publishers (AAP by its acronym in English) released in February 2011. The results have been impressive: compared to February 2010, the consumption, sale and income from companies that sell e-books has grown exponentially.
What the report says?
The AAP proposes in its report, detailed data on a monthly and annual sales, production and sales of electronic books.
In this sense, in relation to February 2010, the consumption growth of e-books or electronic books has been of 202.3 percent, compared to comparable sales from one year to another.
On the other hand, if you take the months of January and February 2010 and January and February 2011, the digital book sales grew by no less than 169.4 percent in just one year.
Revenues from sales of these books amounted to $ 90.3 million, a 202.3 percent more than in February 2010.
As can be seen, the trend is that e-books continue to grow as simply as part of a technology that makes sense, both comfort and ability to move, space, among many other things. The ebook is a step towards preserving the environment and cost savings for the user and reader of novels and several books.
