The Method of street educators. Programming


EDUCATOR'S METHOD OF STREET. PROGRAMMING

This professional impact on a concrete reality in a few special contexts and, using a methodological tactics tailored to each particular case.

Those realities include:

- Problems of addiction in youth .- Social exclusion based on race, economics, culture ...- truancy, poor access to culture, crime ...

Contexts for intervention are:

- Streets, parks, street corners and squares .- gambling halls, bars and entertainment venues and neighborhood youth and youth .- Entities, day care centers ...

The methodological process is based on:

- The claim implicit or explicit in his speech at the request of individuals, groups, professionals, social service agencies, schools, etc .- The standardized and systematic observation to detect and analyze problems. - Identification of needs that may require your intervention .- The diagnosis of the situation evidenced. You must know the population and cultural levels, socioeconomic, labor, social, etc.. to corroborate the diagnosis.

The Educator educational purposes becomes the task delegated to the organization that operates and does so from a team in which they feel integrated, using the means at its disposal and optimizing both these and their own individual development, improving competition in every way (skills, qualities, attitudes, responsibilities, skills, efficiency, ...).

In this type of social work has improvised a lot, carried away by the activism at the expense of the realization of objectives and activities, programming, design and planning. It is not easy, after decades of implementation of street, to specify a methodology for all recipients, because the realities and the territories are different, as they are in turn projects promoting organizations (Autonomous Communities councils, municipalities, nonprofit entities, private sector). We must therefore take into account the personal choices and inspiring perspective of the institution itself in any case it should be clear:
