A real change of attitude (Part 2) - The Power of the Unconscious

I bring you part two of this series of articles on how to achieve real change in our attitude, where I talk about the role of the unconscious in all of this. Second Idea: It was discovered that the mind is like an iceberg. The 5% that sticks to the surface is the conscious mind, the part we control where our skills (behavior, skills and knowledge) and our 5 senses, which can be measurable and observable. The other 95% is the unconscious mind, also called super, part of the brain that makes things that we do not realize (blinking, breathing, heartbeat, digestion, etc..) Here is our 6th sense (intuitive) , our values, needs, motivations, feelings and emotions. What has this to do with the attitude? Our unconscious mind dominates our attitudes, is like a laboratory that governs our mood. In every situation we live, our unconscious acts by releasing a chemical that causes us to react a certain way.

Reflection: If we had a way to control this part of our mind, would have the key to generate a new attitude. But ... how to make? The unconscious functions like a computer: Follow the orders literally, at face value. It does not analyze, can just get something good or bad. There is no sense of humor. Just as the computer is programmed with programming languages, the unconscious is also programmable. How do you program? By 2 mechanisms: thought and language, all what you think and talk programming every day going. Example: If you wake up in the morning and say "that lazy?, Becomes a physiological reaction (at face value), does not ask for what (not analyzed) and does not have sense of humor and you scrub, is likely to have lazy all day But if you begin your day programĂĄndote yourself in words how, "I have a lot of energy?," the perfect day?, etc.., the physiological response will be positive and your day will be different. Reflection: A real change in our attitude does not happen overnight of the mind must be strengthened daily. In the third part of this series, which will be published shortly, will provide you some tips to strengthen your mind and make a real difference in your attitude.
