The Hacker Ethic

Since when does the fact of hacking a computer can be ethical?

When the administrator is notified about the vulnerabilities of your computer? Or when they give us permission to hack and get paid?.

Exactly, a hacker is ethical when it is looking for web servers, ftp or any other computer for bugs so that they can exploit, penetrate the system and then tell the manager about the bugs.

Or when a company hires us to do penetration testing and we pay for testing the security of their systems.

As is the case of the famous ex-hacker Adrian Lamo, who did not hide behind a nickname or something and penetrated systems known companies and their managers warned them about the bugs for rapid repair and never charged for their sericios.

Or expoertos computer security hackers dedicated to penetration testing and live in it as in the case of former hacker Kevin Mitnick, who became the most wanted hacker in the United States FBI and payment 5 years in prison (unfairly ) of those 5 years in prison was 8 months in solitary confinement unaware that the judge who condemned him thought he was a very dangerous person.

But after leaving the jail created his own computer security company "Mitnick Security" which is responsible for advising companies of all sizes about their safety.

An ethical hacker is not when all you do is enter all systems and infect them with all types of viruses and so completely unconfigure, or hackers who are dedicated to be stealing data from businesses or cracking passwords to steal money from bank accounts or the Internet.
