Selfcoaching To approach life creatively

Selfcoaching to approach life creatively

"Live all you can not do so would be a mistake. No matter what you spend in particular, as long as you have your life. If you own your life, what do you have?? Henry James

How to approach life creatively

In our methodology we consider personal mastery as a basic discipline for approaching life creatively. With its expansion will create the results that matter most. Approach life as an artist approaches a work of art or an elite athlete preparing for a world championship. They do selfcoaching devoting a relentless, continuous learning.

People with high levels of personal mastery continually expand their ability to create the results they want, your desired future, its priority objectives.

What is remarkable, though few people have in mind is that this vision depends entirely on you.

You have the power to claim, change or broaden your vision and, therefore, your desired future.

You're at a crossroads. You can forget your past and transform yourself into who you want to become.

If you decide to act creatively, think, feel like the person you want to be, you can become that person.

In colloquial language the word domain suggests the domination of people or things. Concept that has nothing to do with the meaning we give ourselves.

We understand that domain also has a sense of skill level, that of a master craftsman, an artist, an athlete who has a special sphere of its activity. It is manifested in the outcome of their work without exercising any dominion over their materials, people or things.

Self-control is the basic discipline of creative coaching and, in turn, expand their level, is the purpose of coaching yourself or selfcoaching.

Leads to a special sense of connectedness that produces a wider view of the identity and future. We found that as a person acquires a higher level of self-control, better understand living systems, and as more clearly understand the pressures operative, naturally develops more understanding and empathy. Just as an artist comes to dominate an art through learning and continuous practice, you too, with personal coaching sessions, especially selfcoaching, you'll expand your own domain permanently.

It is a process of feedback. It is a discipline that integrates the individual and can last a lifetime.

People with high levels of personal mastery are acutely aware of their ignorance, their mistakes, incompetence, and also their areas of growth. Although it seems a contradiction, feel great confidence in themselves.

People with high self-control have a special sense of vision, developed into a vocation. They see the current reality as an ally rather than an enemy. Learn to perceive the forces of change and work with them rather than resist.

Consider, Peter F. Drucker, the most effective way to govern change successfully is to create it. They see it as an opportunity rather than a threat. They feel connected with others and with life itself. They are part of a larger creative process in which no control can influence unilaterally.

What is the essence of personal mastery?

Two key questions whose answers are the essence of personal mastery:

- Do you know what it is continually important to you?

- Do you have a clear awareness of your current reality?

The first question is as a light source that helps you clarify what truly matters to you.

How many times have you spent time facing problems you create a vision blurred and uncertain of what you really want?

The second is another site that helps you continually see more clearly your current reality.

How many times have you stuck in counterproductive relationships to insist on pretending that everything was fine?

When you go to a desired future is essential to know where you are now.

The difference, the gap between your vision and a clear awareness of your current situation generates what we call creative tension.

Creative tension is the force that drives us to bridge the gap between vision and current reality.

This creative tension is the essence of personal mastery if you can learn to generate and sustain it.

What personal vision?

A personal vision means your desired future. A concrete and specific destination, your priorities.

The vision comes from within, although most people have little sense of real vision. A few months ago a girl asked Argentina,

- What was what mattered most?

- Answer, who approve their standardization, the papers to work and reside in Spain. He answered quickly and with some trepidation, as if it were a thing indispensably needed.

We ...

- Spoke of concerns about various job opportunities that allowed him to survive and prepare for what really mattered: to record an album of tangos with a modern version, promote and sell worldwide.

- When?

- I would make the presentation next summer 2008 in Buenos Aires and Barcelona simultaneously. I will have everything ready. Her eyes clouded and tears fell. This time his expression was not necessary, had a deep meaning. This was his true vision. Had taken to get there. We had stopped long enough in jobs that interested him and had no doubts about possible relationships counterproductive. Had answered about things he wanted to break free. Thing that happens frequently.

The vision can not be understood without a sense of purpose. Purpose is similar to that direction, calling.

The vision is concrete.

The purpose abstract.

The purpose of this girl was a singer, author and promoter of tangos in modern version. His vision, having recorded an album next year and summer present simultaneously in Buenos Aires and Barcelona.

We have experienced that nothing important happens without a vision. At the same time, a vision without purpose, without calling, just a good idea.

It is very expressive exclamation of Macbeth: sound and fury signifying nothing.

The vision is genuine and plural. Each environment often influences our vision. Normally most people have trouble identifying and talking about their visions. Because we are afraid of the gap between our real vision and reality. The girl thought that Argentina had wanted to record an album, sell it and promote it with live performances but he overlooked the need to work on other things.

Another said in a workshop: I would like to become independent and create my own company but I have enough savings yet. Another, in the same workshop, I want to study art history but I'm not very determined, I say it has very few job opportunities.

Gaps, they create a state of despair, fear and come to think that they are fanciful. They can discard or distressed.

It is very normal to feel insecure to express your vision. It usually needs great courage to hold views that do not get along with the general tone of our environment. Other times, because the gap between vision and reality is great.

But precisely this courage that distinguishes people of high self-control.

As the Japanese say about the great master, not even a hair stands between his vision and action.

What concerns the current situation?

The current reality is the answer to the second question:

Do you have a clear awareness of your current reality?

The current reality refers to you and your environment, your resources, your helplessness and your options:

What do you have? What do you need? Where are you? Where to go? How are you?

The process of awareness of your current reality true, it is essential to establish appropriate strategies to bring your vision, achieve your goals and develop your personal domain.

To identify your current reality we have designed a process that will help you find resources, learn where you are at all times, what are your feelings about the desired objective and what is also very important, what's stopping you, the structural conflict. We must investigate to find out the truth, reality as real as possible. All this is very important. Your current reality is the basis of any strategy to achieve your vision.

What is it that produces the creative tension?

The gap is the creative tension produced by a source of creative energy.

As we said, is the essence of personal mastery. It integrates all the essential elements of this discipline.

The gap determines the actions to move towards the vision.

In our workshops we use the metaphor of a rubber band, a rubber band stretched between two fingers, one for each hand, representing the vision of right and left of the current reality.

When stretching is a tension: What trend is this tension?

The decline and its cancellation. How can we eliminate or reduce it?

In two ways: Bringing the current reality to the vision or the vision to reality. What happens depends on you.

Creative tension is one of the key principles of personal mastery.

However, many people, coaches, other professionals, human behavior, counselors, parents, still have not understood that the creative tension does not involve anxiety, anxiety and stress. It is a force that initiates its action when we become aware of the gap between vision and current reality without any special feeling. Many people believe that the creative process is to undergo a state of anxiety and stress.

We have found that emotional stress, which may arise, not the creative tension. The creative tension produces no such status. In contrast, produces a creative state that changes the emotional stress and other states.

If we do not understand may have to lower vision. When we are dissatisfied, with a vision, we feel the urge to lighten the load. The remedy is straightforward: to reduce the vision. We could put many examples that we see in sessions and workshops with typical comments. This makes it very easy to reduce your stress but the price is very expensive: the abandonment of your vision, what really matters.
