Custom Website Design
The biggest mistake you can make when designing a website is to include works of fiction too many graphics and flash files that needs endless minutes to load for viewing. Let us discuss what constitutes a good web design.
1) the pages Splash is not a good solution
Splash pages are the first pages you see when you get to a website. Consisting of beautiful designs, are usually lavish images and graphics with accompanying words like "Welcome to our site" or "click here to enter." These are just distractions that may divert attention from the purpose of your website. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the "back" button!
2) Banners can be counterproductive
Although these may be the foot of a web page listings of this type are mainly located on the right at the top of the page in what is called 'header'. Even the newbie to the Internet you are trained to ignore banner ads so that we would be just wasting valuable real estate space. A better solution would be to add useful web content and affiliate links artfully woven into them.
3) Maintain a simple navigation
Keep navigation simple so that the youngest user can use. Do not use any type of menu that will complicate users, drop-down lists, multi-tier, not a good idea. Any form of complicated navigation will cause them to leave the site forever. Your website design should include the construction of a sitemap that will make it easier for them to find what they want.
4) Do not let your visitors feel as if you are lost
When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you want to make sure you know which part of the site at that time. This will provide the visitor with their exact position at any point while you look around your site. Ensure that each page of your website has its own title and a tracking system is used to allow visitors to see where they were and where they are. If you confuse your visitors in any way they will go.
5) Do you really need to include audio?
Avoid the use of music, if possible. An audio file should not be played continuously may be irritating to the user. Adding audio can seem cold, but to provide some form of user control as the ability to mute or volume control so that people can adjust accordingly. If you want visitors to return to your site, learn to apply all the rules of designing the website and you can reap the benefits of long-term traffic .......
