How search engines work?

We start from the beginning. When you type a query into a search engine, what happens? Some people think that every time you insert a search in a search engine like Google, the program gives chase through the entire Internet to produce the response. This is not what happens.

Let's say you type "dog obedience" words in Yahoo. Yahoo takes these keywords and then searches through its database of indexed websites only to find matches. To add and update their databases, search engines have programs called "spiders" that crawl through the pages on the Internet looking for pages and sites to be indexed. However, they do not find sites on their own. They find sites if someone has deliberately put a website into a search engine "Add URL" form. They are also able to find a web site if another site in its database is connected.

When a search engine finds a site, it is believed that the text on the website to be the only thing that the number to be extracted. It places its database of classified data for the information it perceives as important. So if you have a society that has free articles teaching people how to train their dogs, but do not have the "obey" word listed anywhere on your site may not be listed in the search example above.

Then, after all this - how do you get a high ranking on search engines?
